Dedication and hard-work are two key components in the game of soccer. Young athletes continue to succeed and surpass our expectations with their grit and commitment. Greggs Goals wants to foster young athletes like this, like you! We aren’t looking for the players with the most goals or wins, but the players that have a love for the game and a determination for their future.
To be eligible you must:
Have played for a high school or Club in northern San Diego county.
Have a high school GPA of 2.5 or greater
Plan to attend College, University, Arts or Trade School
What you need to complete in order to apply:
3 letters of recommendation from a mentor, teacher, coach, etc.
A photograph
Evidence of a high school GPA of 2.5 or greater
Completed application form
Leadership—Loyalty—Dependability— Love of the Game— Courage—Community Involvement
Applicants will be selected by a panel of volunteer community members (educators, as well as current and past members of soccer community). Athletes will be judged in reference of the criteria:
Leadership
Loyalty
Dependability
Love of the game
Courage
Giving back to the game
The scholarship fund will provide scholarships based on amount of money available in fund, and applicants eligible that year.
