These EVENTS are a time for the community to come together and celebrate our cause. Since 2009, we have succeeded in raising over $160,000 - all towards scholarships!!!
2022
The 2022 fundraiser Gregg’s Galaxy, all things space and sci-fi related was a success! Here are some of our favorite moments and memories, this event was out of this world!
2021
The 2021 fundraiser, a Poker Rally, hosted at the Garon’s for a catered meal - with scholarship introductions, an auction and raffle!
2020
2020 - in the midst of the corona virus outbreak, the fundraiser was the (stayin' safe), Great Car Rally! Lots of smiling faces as people drove around to some iconic San Diego sites taking photos. At the end, there were boxed lunches and prizes for the winners.
2019
The 2019 fundraiser “Parrotheads Unite!” was a beautiful event with tropical costumes and decor to celebrate this year’s scholars.
In 2006, Maryanne and Dennis Garon decided to start a soccer scholarship…
Since then events from the 2022 Greggs Galaxy Fundraiser, to the first ever Greggs Goals Wine Tasting and Silent auction in 2011 have occurred. The original purpose of the scholarship was to reward the somewhat “unsung heroes” amongst the players.
